Michael Reilly Burke

Michael Reilly Burke may not be a household name; however, most people would recognize him. Burke has appeared on a lot of famous TV shows for small parts in episodes. Those shows include: “24″, “Heroes”, “CSI: Miami”, “NCIS”, “The West Wing”, “Crossing Jordan”, “The O.C.”, and “Desperate Housewives”to name a few. His most popular movie role was as Ted Bundy in the same titled film.

Michael plays Eddie’s partner Kevin Lund in “Lincoln Heights”. The two have the common goal to serve their community and make it better.

Russell Hornsby

Russell Hornsby plays Eddie Sutton, a father and cop on “Lincoln Heights”. Hornsby became involved in theater acting in main roles in plays such as”To Kill a Mockingbird”, “Joe Louis Blues”, and “Six Degrees of Separation”. He also has TV experiencing as running back Leon Taylor in the ESPN TV show Playmakers. Hornsby has also appeared in several movie roles.

Russel as Eddie brings passion and aggression to his old neighborhood. As he grew up in the same location he still sees his childhood playground as what it used to be and what it could return to. As a dedicated cop Eddie does seeks the goal to create the same great place he once had for his children.

Lincoln Heights

Lincoln Heights tells the story of a cop and his family who move back to his children neighborhood of Lincoln Heights in search for new beginnings. Becoming acquainted with their new community and surroundings the kids have trouble fitting while the parents also experience the difficulties which come with change. Adding to the stress is daughter Cassie’s new relationship with a white boy!

“Lincoln Heights” originally aired in January of 2007 on ABC Family. After 13 successful episodes a second season was ordered by the network. Season 2 will start September 10, 2007.
